- Cate Blanchett is more amazing every time I see her. She hits all the right spots in this movie and seems to breathe fresh air into every screen minute as we expect her to do.
- The filming of this is beautiful and that alone makes it a worthwhile trip. From the super vivid colors underwater to the background shots; everything here is flawless. Makes you want to sit in front of the Discovery HD channel all day long, which is what I do.
- The soundtrack is fantastic with the acoustic versions of David Bowie tracks by Seu Jorge leading the way. Plus the fact that Mr. Bowie is on the soundtrack is a nice treat as well. And I have to admit that there is no better feeling than slipping on your wet suit and dancing next to Steve Z.
- Bill Murray & Bill Murray. Not only are his projects top notch it seems as though he is raising his game every time too.
Maybe not a commercial or critical darling but this one is worth every penny.

Second your opinion on The Life Aquatic and Bill Murray rules. What about this new Jim Jarmusch movie that he's starring in, Broken Flowers? Should be pretty great...
I have to admit that I knew nothing of this film until about two days ago. However, I do like Mr. Jarmusch and am always interested in what he does. The cast seems pretty impressive as well although Sharon Stone strikes me as a funny choice. I also do not like to support Chloe Sevigny as she just seems to be a less popular/trashier version of Paris Hilton.
