Possible Suggestion?

I recently picked up The Last Gentleman Adventurer : Coming of Age in the Arctic by Edward Beauclerk Maurice. It basically is his memoirs regarding his lifetime spent with the original Hudson Bay Company (Originally know as the The Gentleman Traders). He went to work with them at age 16 and spent several years in the Canadian Artic. I bought this on a whim and it is a great read so far especially if you are a fan of Jack London, Ernest Hemingway or Jim Harrison.

I will do a proper review when I have finished the book but I thought this might make a nice Holiday read or gift for anyone out there.
