Happy May Day

Do you think these Happy May Day cards is what the Federation of Organized Trades and Labor Unions were hoping for when they passed a resolution stating that eight hours would constitute a legal day's work from and after May 1, 1886 in the US? Somehow I am doubtful that they anticipated such a warm and fluffy greeting at that time but maybe I am wrong. For a nice socialist/slanted story relating to May Day check out this note/manifesto or you can always go to Wikipedia.

Either way Happy May Day to all you sons of bitches out their working your lazy 8-hour days.

It's nice to see that the good chairman had the severed heads of Stalin, Lenin, et. al. to guide him.

Sort of like Jiminy Cricket..."Commieniny Cricket"???

I just like the fact that they are either severed heads as you pointed out to glorify the chairman or they are inspiring God like figures.
