Jokes & Punchlines

We all know that President Bush is fodder for late night comedians but I was surprised to read that he has been the target of 307 monologue (only) jokes between Letterman, Leno and O'Brien. This research was done by the Center for Media and Public Affairs. They listed a few samples but I do like the following from Leno (I know, I know)--

Did you know former President James Garfield could write Latin with one hand and Greek with the other at the same time?" Leno said. "That was Garfield. When President Bush heard about it, he said, `We had a talking cat for president?'"

I am sure their are better ones but this one struck me as being very possible. In addition, you have to wonder what the count would have been if John Stewart and Stephen Colbert has been included.
