Not A Typical 3rd Day

I returned from HK/China this past Wednesday but due to some serious jetlag (Not usual) and getting stuck in Newark for a day this was a little delayed. The final day ended up with us going to China and although the day was productive it was still not so good--

First off the transportation ended up going a little sideways from what I previously described--

5am--Wake up, do some work and get ready to leave for the factory .
8:30am--Leave hotel.
9-9:10am--Take the subway to get to the train station to take us into China.
9:15-10am--Take train which will take us into China and clear immigration.
10-10:30am--Take subway (new in the past year)
10:30-11am--Wait for car and then ride to a restaurant for lunch
11-1:30pm--Meet with our guys and eat a great lunch
1:30-2:20pm--Take car to factory
2:30-7:30pm--Spend time at the factory
7:30-8:15pm--Take car back to train station
8:15-9pm--Take train back to HK (Again clear immigration)
9-9:10pm--Take subway back front train station to nearest stop
9:20--Back to hotel

The day also included a few highlights including--
  • Being more exhausted than I could imagine.
  • Sweating a shitload in beautiful Shenzhen for almost 11 hours.
  • Finding out my laptop had a busted LCD upon arriving back to the hotel just in time to accomplish very little for the US business day (Still catching up). I loved her from the day I met her until the day she died.
  • Slashing my right forearm on some very sharp tinplate. I have not yet had lock-jaw or foamed at the mouth but I am still hopeful
  • Spent all night awake trying to keep up sans computer which proved tiring (Still recovering) and pointless.

So there you go. 2 good days = 1 very bad day. For the record, I am not happy at this moment.
