I think that anyone who knows me would not consider me to be paticularly thrifty or frugal but I am also known to be fairly intelligent so for me to admit that I spent this god-awful sum of money on a stroller will seem incredibly ridiculous.
And for the record I spent $1016.00 which includes tax and the stroller bag on the Bugaboo Chameleon!
However, my first 3 days in Paris with my 1 year old angel has proven yet again that you get what you pay for as my justifications are listed below:
- The seat is removable and I was was able to use it on the flight like a car seat. This was infinitely more comfortable for her to sleep in then a damn car seat and it saves me the effort of lugging around a car seat for two total flights.
- This has to be the easiest stroller in the world to take down and put back together in its entirety.
- Cobblestones. Ha. Wood Paths. HaHa. Nothing can stop or slow this unstoppable stroller.
- For the first time my daughter fell asleep in her stroller and allowed us to continue to enjoy the day at a leisurely pace while she got in her nap. The piece of mind this offers is beyond measure for a parent with an extremely active toddler.
- This stroller is slick looking which is kinda nice for young parents who do not want to sell out 110%. No stroller can even compare to this bad ass.
I could go on and on and will continue to do so in mind until I surpass the 1016 reasons I need to. However, if you are a new parent think about getting this stroller right off the bat instead of spending good money on a good stroller while you could spend stupid money on a fantastic one.
Just bite the damn bullet.
