Good Times Above

I am going to stay away from all the political topics as I will be swimming in my own frothy blood before I know it and that seems bad. I am going to go with another favorite topic of mine...Plane Crashes. As someone who spends a lot of time in the air I am always amazed that I have yet to crash and die in own of these tubular hellholes. I know stats indicate that the percentage is low but nonetheless I still think that far too many of these happen and none of them involve me. Come to think of it they have never involved or affected anyone I know. This seems far too odd to me.

However, as a big fan of Am I Going Down it hurt me deeply when this website went the way of Gilligan. I have found another site which offers a little less humor but still quite a bit of intrigue for me regarding plane crashes called Plane Crash Info. Here you can get all the details regarding airplane crashes from around the world dating from 1908 to the present. I really enjoy the Accident Statistics section as it gives you a nice glimpse into how this might occur the next time you fly.

For the record I do think plane crashes are bad, really bad but you have to admit that flying is a pretty crazy thing as well. Enjoy.
