A Nice Tie

Several of my friends have always use the standard Four-In-Hand Knot to tie their ties regardless of their neck/collar length, suit/tie style or selected event. This often is a pretty bad decision as a bad knot can ruin a great tie or suit. However, I do understand the predicament as most guys:

a) learn one particular knot from their father and call it a day
b) have no idea how to tie another knot and would never dare ask someone for assistance
c) do not really care although they secretly pine to look like a Salvatore Ferragamo ad

My service for today is to point you here as this should resolve 95% of the issues you might encounter into a very straightforward manner. If you do however want to take this one step further I suggest this site as Cambridge University physicists Thomas Fink and Yong Mao have documented over 90 variations of ties which could lead you down a dark, tightly wound path.
