With work I am sometimes on the road 2 weeks a month and I can say that I almost never turn on the TV in my hotel room. That being said, I was in Vegas recently and I realized that everytime I am there, which is quite a lot, I am obsessed with watching Chopper, King of Cars. Regardless of the 10,000 distractions in that city and whether I am mildly drunk, smashingly drunk or just stumbling back to my room at 4am from other "poor choice environments" I always search the TV for Chopper. This is absolutely amazing being one who dislikes TV but I cannot help it. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this guy here you go--The above guy owns and runs one of the most successful car dealerships in the country (Around 8000 Dodges sold per year) and instead of trying to class up the car salesman act he embraces the full on hilariousness side of this business. He has a 1-2 hour weekly show where he "chops" the price of cars with a range of sideshow acts ranging from a blue genie to guy in a diaper who calls himself broccoli pants. It is so unreal and goofy that it is impossible to capture the charm or appeal of this show without watching it yourself.
This guy is finally getting his own reality show, King of Cars on A&E starting this Tuesday (9pm Central) and it is a must watch.
